README.md

This demo assumes SQL Server 2017. It has been tested on SQL Server 2017 RC1

  1. If you have not already done so, restore the WideWorldImporters database backup which can be found on https://github.com/Microsoft/sql-server-samples/releases/download/wide-world-importers-v1.0/WideWorldImporters-Full.bak

  2. Run the setup.sql script to setup the repro

  3. Follow the steps in demo-full.sql to show how automatic tuning and auto plan correction works
